RCIA

Woman Praying

Many adults entering the Catholic Church, or those just thinking about it, follow a process known as the RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). This includes those who are not associated with a community of faith, those who are associated with a different faith and who wish to become Catholic, or those who want to learn about the Catholic faith, but do not wish to become Catholic. This also includes children seven years and older.

The RCIA process has several distinct stages and varies according your circumstances:

• Never baptized

• Baptized, but received little or no formation

• Baptized & formed in a different denomination

• Baptized & receiving Holy Communion

Contact the parish office if you are interested in becoming Catholic or if you were baptized Catholic and want to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion or Confirmation.
